Job description

Job title : FP&A Senior

Job family    :    Finance         

 

Job purpose

This role will report directly to the FP&A Manager and will be responsible for executing and processing planning and management accounting related activities, including financial analyses, cost of sales analysis and variance analysis to enable Local Finance to take decisions and actions that drive the best possible financial outcomes in terms of growth in revenue and margin. They will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are performed in accordance with performance and quality standards.

 

Principal accountabilities

  • Delivery of FP&A services, ensuring the highest standards of financial analysis and reporting.
  • Develop comprehensive budgets, forecasts, variance analysis against forecasts and budgets
  • Perform financial analyses, cost of sales analysis, product costing and report on profitability
  • Ensure the integrity of financial data and adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements.
  • Provide support in monitoring financial & business performance metrics and operational performance measurement metrics
  • Provide business results commentary to management
  • Support in preparation of executive presentations and financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Support in responding to relevant ad hoc queries from the Business

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification is desirable.

 

Skills

  • Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Knowledge of service management optics and experience in managing service delivery against key performance indicators.
  • Knowledge of FP&A-related tools and technologies, including Blackline, Anaplan, ServiceNow (SNOW), and RPA platforms and knowledge on Artificial Intelligence is desirable.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

 

Work Environment

  • This role may require to work in round the clock shifts
