EY Parthenon - Software Strategy Group - Manager - Multiple Positions 1715644, Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.
Provide investment and acquisition guidance (including commercial, product, and technology diligence), strategy, value creation, and transaction advisory services to companies and investors in the Software Economy. Serve in a managerial role within the Software Strategy Group. Provide technical and functional solution leadership on multiple consulting engagements, support delivery teams for diligence and value creation engagements and serve as an architect level resource. Work directly with clients to deliver best practice processes across the solution set. Coordinate across the practice to ensure cohesive, consistent solutions and deliverables. Projects cover a variety of client issues, including diligence, value creation, technology strategy, and product strategy.
Assist in defining the objective and scope of strategy engagements and client deliverables in consultation with the Senior Directors, Partner/Principal, and or Managing Director. Manage projects and oversee staff from initial data collection and analysis to creating final client deliverables. Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds in performing quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to develop strategies and solutions for clients.
Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Masters degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of related work experience.
Must have 2 years of experience working with one or a combination of the following: a multi-national or large-size technology strategy consulting firm, a technology strategy consulting practice group within a multi-national or large-size firm, and/or with a multi-national or large-size technology company.
Must have 3 years of quantitative experience including data analysis, interpreting output and generating insights for external or internal stakeholders.
Must have 2 years of experience authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
Must have 2 years of experience providing thought leadership in the forms of customers presentations, public speaking, and content writing for blogs and case studies.
Must have 2 years of experience in project management and in supervising teams comprised of 2 or more team members.
Must have 1 year of experience making detailed assessments of the software industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
Must have 1 year of experience in due diligence and/or value creation engagements for one or a combination of the software sectors: ERP, CRM, Digital Media, and/or Mobile, Healthcare, and/or Government Technology.
Requires travel up to 30%, of which 5% may be international, to serve client needs.
