At EY-Parthenon, we work alongside leading Private Equity investors and corporates to deliver value across the deal lifecycle.

 

As our Manager Transaction Diligence (Private Equity), youll lead financial due diligence across fast-paced buy-side and sell-side transactions for leading PE clients. You will provide critical financial insights to support acquisitions, exits and portfolio value creation across a range of sectors.

 

This is a hybrid position based in Warrang Sydney.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Lead buy-side and sell-side Financial Due Diligence engagements for Private Equity transactions
  • Analyse financial performance (QoE, working capital, cash flow) to support investment decisions and deal structuring
  • Deliver client-ready outputs while managing stakeholder relationships and supporting junior team development

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Experience in Private Equity-focused FDD engagements
  • Strong exposure to buy-side and sell-side transactions
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to operate in fast-paced deal environments
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • CA, ACA, CPA or equivalent

 

Ideally, youll have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes.

 

  • Experience working with PE investors, portfolio companies or lenders
  • Ability to translate financial insights into investment recommendations
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
