EY AI and DATA Collibra Data Governance Architect

EY's GDS Consulting AI & DATA is a unique, industry-focused business unit that provides a broad range of integrated services that leverage deep industry experience with strong functional and technical capabilities and product knowledge. EYs financial services practice provides integrated services to financial institutions and other capital markets participants, including commercial banks, retail banks, investment banks, broker-dealers & asset management firms, and insurance firms from leading Fortune 500 Companies. Within EYs Practice, Data and Analytics team solves big, complex issues and capitalize on opportunities to deliver better working outcomes that help expand and safeguard the businesses, now and in the future. The opportunity

Critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data governance processes and solutions, particularly leveraging the Collibra platform catalogue (mandatory) and DQ.

 

Primary skills and key responsibilities

  • High level of proficiency in using Collibra Data Catalog for data governance activities, including workflow development and operational model design.
  • Expertise in metadata management and implementing metadata cataloging processes to enhance data discoverability, accessibility, and governance.
  • Proven experience supporting the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Collibra workflow development, including custom workflow creation and optimization.
  • Familiarity with integration architecture to enable seamless interoperability between Collibra and other enterprise systems.
  • Collibra Ranger Certification
  • Collibra DQ expertise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for reporting and data analysis; SQL, HTML

 

Key skills required for the role:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain data stewardship and ownership roles.
  • Manage metadata to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the enterprise.
  • Need to have 3-7 years of experience.
  • Implement and manage metadata cataloging processes to improve data discoverability and usability.
  • Utilize Collibra to drive data governance activities and provide training to teams to enhance adoption and maturity.
  • Lead or assist in project management activities related to data governance initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to metadata stewards, ensuring compliance with governance policies.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and demos for various stakeholders, including senior management, to promote data governance awareness and adoption.
  • Facilitate technical architecture discussions and provide recommendations aligned with industry best practices and organizational standards.
