Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centres. The GDS team plays an important role in EYs strategy by ensuring effective support to EYs growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

The Opportunity: Senior Cloud Native Developer (AWS)

In todays rapidly evolving digital landscape, cloud-native architectures are at the core of scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise platforms. EY GDS is looking for a Senior Cloud Native Developer who will play a critical role in designing, building, and modernizing cloud-first solutions for global clients.

As part of our global delivery teams, you will work on complex transformation programs, contribute to next-generation digital platforms, and apply modern engineering practices across distributed systems, DevOps, and AI-enabled services.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Build scalable, resilient, and secure microservices using: Node.js/Typescript.
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, leveraging managed services and event-driven architectures
• Translate business and technical requirements into well-architected cloud solutions following AWS best practices
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services with strong focus on performance, observability, and fault tolerance
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release strategies to enable continuous delivery
• Collaborate closely with architects, DevOps engineers, and product teams across global engagements
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and cost-optimization principles in cloud implementations
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring of junior developers
• Contribute to modernization initiatives including monolith-to-microservices, cloud migration, and re-platforming
