Job Description Adobe Commerce Senior Manager

  • Experience: Min 20 years of experience with Adobe consulting
  • 12+ years project management experience preferably in the commerce space with end-to-end delivery of Adobe Commerce implementations, upgrades, migration and enhancements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading complex consulting programs/projects with end-to-end project management, project execution and estimation, solutioning, and implementation delivery management
  • Manages time tracking, resource allocation and health reporting and budget
  • Conduct project forecasting for revenue, budget vs actual, timeline, etc.
  • Ensure timecards are submitted by all resources
  • Manages governance related to scope, schedule, and resourcing
  • Owns project change process (contract negotiation responsibilities stay with the Client Partner) & manages change request conversation to ensure appropriate funding is available to deliver the project
  • Manages Scope with Internal Adobe and Client stakeholders
  • Manages project health (via agreed upon dashboards) and communicate to Internal Adobe and Customer executive along with Adobe Client Partner / Delivery Owner
  • Define the eCommerce platform roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Proactively manages scope, resourcing, timeline, external customer dependencies and deliverables, client acceptance, and provides day-to-day coordination
  • Manages communication with both internal and external stakeholders to the project and larger program teams (to track budget, progress, and burn rate) and follows escalation framework as necessary
  • Drives project delivery with off/near-shore teams
  • Scheduling of both onsite and offsite coordination and communication
  • Leads discussions related to managing risk and issues throughout the project or program
  • Understands and communicates customer requirements and integration points in the context of the statement of work
  • Develops and manages project documentation, including project plan, budget/work plan, functional requirements, functional design, communications plan, kick off agenda, etc.

 

Knowledge and Skill:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, time-management and active listening skills.
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize activities.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Advanced knowledge of waterfall and Agile PM methodology.
