EY GDS Commercial Excellence Supervising Associate

 

As a Supervising Associate in the Strategic Pricing & Insights team under Commercial Excellence, you will provide financial and commercial support for EYs large and complex opportunities. You will assist in developing competitive pricing strategies, preparing cost-to-serve estimates, and creating client-facing proposals to help optimize deal competitiveness and profitability.

 

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Support pricing and commercial activities: Assist in preparing business cases, developing charging models, and creating client-facing proposals and presentations.
  • Perform financial modeling and cost-to-serve analysis: Use Microsoft Excel and EY pricing tools to build financial models, validate solution estimates, and forecast deal economics.
  • Integrate competitive intelligence: Gather and synthesize price, solution, and commercial benchmarks to support positioning and differentiation of EYs offerings.
  • Coordinate pursuit deliverables: Draft financial and commercial summaries for client discussions and internal reviews; support pursuit teams during negotiations; and ensure pricing narratives are accurate and aligned with EY standards.
  • Break down pricing components: Contribute to price testing against market benchmarks, solution benchmarking for differentiation, and positioning strategies based on client willingness-to-pay.
  • Support commercial model design: Help evaluate input-, output-, and outcome-based models to accelerate client value while safeguarding EYs margins.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking: Collect market intelligence, competitor pricing insights, and economic indicators to refine price positioning and value articulation.
  • Drive activation of best-practice pricing tools and templates across pursuits: Ensure accuracy and consistency of pricing assets and support continuous improvement initiatives; mentor junior team members for tool adoption.
  • Team coordination and mentoring: Provide guidance to junior team members and coordinate onboarding activities.

Qualifications for the role:

 

  • Graduate in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
  • 35 years of relevant experience in pricing, financial analysis, or commercial support roles.
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Exposure to professional services or pricing tools is an advantage.
  • English language fluency (oral and written).
