The Opportunity

 

We are seeking experienced consultants with a strong background in Cards and Payments, to deliver large-scale payments migration engagements to join our Financial Services Consulting team in Singapore. We are hiring at all levels of seniority for this role.

 

In this role, you will gain first-hand consulting experience, working on complex, large-scale payments transformation and migration engagements across the region. You will collaborate with EYs global network of subject matter and delivery experts, while helping clients address evolving challenges in cards, fraud, and digital payments.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support and deliver large-scale cards and payments migration projects across APAC
  • Analyse and evaluate current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvement opportunities
  • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories
  • Ensure user stories are sufficiently detailed for development teams to size, build, and test effectively
  • Drive initiatives to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Work with stakeholders across business and technology teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
  • Build strong client relationships through high-quality deliverables and trusted advisory support
  • Collaborate with global EY teams and leverage best practices across engagements
  • Opportunities will be available to provide exposure in a variety of other projects.


Skills & Attributes for Success

  • Strong experience in Cards and Payments domain, with exposure to payment systems or migration programmes
  • Proven ability to analyse business processes, identify gaps, and implement practical solutions
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and documentation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment and work effectively in teams

 

To Qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Cards & Payments. Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for senior-level roles.
  • Experience in payments/cards migration projects
  • Prior consulting experience is advantageous, but not mandatory
