Your area of work

As a Working Student (f/m/d) in the Business Acceptance Unit, you will support project coordination, stakeholder integration, and delivery tracking across Eurex Clearing applications. You will work closely with testing, business, and technology teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives and transparent communication.
This role is ideal for students interested in financial markets, project management, and cross-functional coordination, with a strong analytical mindset and interest in how large-scale financial systems are delivered and operated.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You will support planning, tracking, and coordination of Business Acceptance testing activities across multiple applications
  • You will help prepare status reports, presentations, and management updates and document meeting outcomes, action points, and ensure proper follow-up
  • You will gain exposure to clearing, risk management, and trading processes and support related analysis tasks
  • You will support basic data analysis tasks using Excel, SQL, or Python to track progress and identify trends
  • You will assist in preparing dashboards and reporting artifacts for project monitoring
  • You will support the creation and execution of manual and automated test cases based on specifications and user stories
  • Part of your tasks will be the documentation of test results, tracking of defects, and assisting with retesting
  • You will develop automation scripts and support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub / Jenkins) and help maintain regression suites

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled at a state-recognized university (e.g., Business Analytics, Finance, Business Informatics, or similar) for the full duration of the working student activity
  • You have a strong interest in financial markets, derivatives (options/futures), and risk management
  • You bring strong analytical and organizational skills with a structured working style
  • You have good knowledge of Excel and basic Python/SQL; familiarity with financial tools (e.g., Bloomberg) is a plus
  • You demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • You are fluent in English and German
