Your area of work:

The Group Risk Resilience Section oversees Deutsche Brse Group's resilience framework, covering Business Continuity Management, Crisis Resilience Management, and Third Party Risk Management. The Head of Group Risk Resilience reports to the Chief Risk Officer. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team across multiple locations and drive the further development of a holistic Group-wide resilience strategy. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior management and represent the resilience function to internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and supervisory authorities.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and further develop Deutsche Brse Group's Risk Resilience function, ensuring an integrated and forward-looking resilience strategy across the Group.
  • Define and maintain Group-wide governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes in line with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee resilience risks related to third-party arrangements and outsourcing activities throughout their lifecycle.
  • Ensure effective incident, crisis, and resilience management governance, including escalation and response processes.
  • Drive the continuous enhancement of the Group's Business Continuity Management framework, including planning, testing, and reporting activities.

 

Your profile:

  • Proven leadership experience with a strong track record of managing and developing high-performing teams in an international and/or matrix-based environment.
  • Extensive experience in risk management leadership roles within the financial services industry.
  • Expertise in at least two of the following areas: Business Continuity Management, Crisis Resilience Management, Third Party Risk Management, Outsourcing Governance, Operational Resilience, or Information Security.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, including DORA, MaRisk, EMIR, CSDR, and ISO 22301.
  • Experience in designing and implementing resilience, incident, and crisis management frameworks within complex organizations.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Security, Law, or a related field.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
