Job Title: TSCO - Confirmation Analyst (APAC) - NCT

Location: Manila

Corporate Title Analyst

Trade Settlements and Confirmations Operations (TSCO) supports various entities in Asia Pacific (i.e. Australia, Japan, Singapore, Hongkong, India to name a few) in terms of trade confirmations and settlements. The Documentations team mainly handles Fixed Income and Currencies (FIC) and products covered would be Rates & Credit and FX Options. The team ensures timely dispatch of confirmations to mitigate any risk for the Bank. In addition, we need to liaise with internal teams, branches, and clients to ensure any mismatches are addressed or issues are escalated within the control framework/protocols. This role will allow for exposure and growth within Operations.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support Trade Confirmations/Documentations process for Fixed Income & Currencies APAC (covering Rates & Credit, FX Options, Equity-retained business). Handle trade confirmations drafting, incoming review and chasing of outstanding confirmations in line with defined procedures and protocols.
  • Liaise with various internal teams i.e. Front Office (FO), Middle Office (MO), Legal, regional and global documentations teams, static team for accurate processing of confirmations or for any issues that may be encountered in daily RTB.
  • Participate in team huddles, meetings, regional calls, forums as may be required in the Trade Confirmations space.
  • Assist team supervisors/team leads in identifying opportunities for process improvements and gathering information for projects, audit, etc.
  • Perform proper control checks for related documentations processes and other controls that may be implemented.

  • Graduate of any business/finance related course
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, follow procedures and adhere to agreed protocols
