Within Deutsche Banks Investment Banking and Capital Markets (IBCM) division, the Transaction Coordination Group (TCG) is a dedicated team that manages the endtoend coordination of client onboarding, compliance, and transaction execution, ensuring all regulatory and operational requirements are met for lending and investment transactions.

You will be a member of the Business Execution Team and will report directly into the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Head of Investment Banking & Capital Markets (IBCM) Business execution team.

Your key responsibilities

  • Liaising with deal teams, legal, compliance, antifinancial crime, and other control functions to ensure all steps are completed to allow deal execution
  • Working in collaboration with Know Your Client (KYC) Operations teams to ensure all client KYC and regulatory requirements are complete and active. Ensuring compliance with KYC/Anit-Money Laundering (AML)/ regulatory policies, and maintaining uptodate client data
  • Coordinating all regulatory onboarding requirements for bankers, clients, and external legal counsel to obtain required KYC and regulatory information
  • Monitoring tracking systems, escalating risks, and ensuring timely resolution of exceptions

Your skills and experience

  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
  • Extensive banking/financial services experience, including supervisory/management experience and KYC/Compliance experience
  • Understanding of Control, Compliance and Investigation functions in the banking industry and of the end to end KYC and client onboarding processes
  • Understanding of the front to back on boarding function. Experience of working in offshore locations across New client Adoption (NCA) and Periodic Review
  • Subject Matter Expertise knowledge of Markets/ Corporate Finance and Global Transaction Banking (GTB) business lines. Evidencing a clear understanding of how KYC policies influence those product areas
  • Evidence of a strong change background and ability to drive and delivery process efficiency at a senior level
