Overview

As an Operations Data Engineer, you will engage and assist in core processes to reduce complexity and improve operations. You will simplify processes through improvements and engage in daily huddles with Management Information Systems (MIS) leads, engineers, and team members on various projects. You will work on multiple processes or a single process with broad impact, implementing changes, automation, and technological interventions to achieve operational benefits.

What Youll Do

  • Engage regularly with MIS leads, engineers, and team members to represent Operations in daily huddles and sprint reviews

  • Simplify and standardize processes through improvements and triage

  • Automate processes with technology to implement core application changes and digital tools (e.g., Python, OCR, AI)

  • Assist in design target solutions, execution roadmaps, and gain stakeholder approval for implementation

  • Provide timely and accurate updates in JIRA and other status tools

Skills Youll Need

  • Extensive experience in an operational environment with a strong understanding of products and processes

  • Experience delivering or coordinating small to medium programs

  • Experience managing onshore and offshore staff, ensuring team cohesion

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail, and strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Finance, or Business preferred)

  • PMP certification or equivalent e.g. Agile/SCRUM

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and Lean Six Sigma practices

  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and with clients
