The Team

  • The Senior Operations Analyst in Client Reporting is responsible for the timely, complete, and accurate creation and dispatch of complex client reports. They serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and all related upstream and downstream activities within the functional team.
  • This role plays a key part in enabling communication between functional teams, sharing knowledge and business practices, and developing and implementing process and performance efficiencies. In certain cases, the Senior Operations Analyst may also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties, especially for time-sensitive, complex, or regulatory tasks.
  • Some tasks are highly time-sensitive or complex and require interaction with internal stakeholders including Portfolio Managers, Client relationship Managers and Client coverage team.
  • They build trust with clients, maintain standards, are accessible during critical moments, and dig deep into client needs.

Your key responsibilities

  • Timely, complete, and accurate creation of complex client reports, including coordination with the front office and handling client inquiries.
  • Timely and accurate handling of ad-hoc requests and inquiries.
  • Delivery of run-the-bank services and support for change-the-bank activities.
  • Coordination of documents for portfolio launches and structural changes based on master data with the front office.
  • Review of fund manager comments, organization of required translations, and invoice processing.
  • Point of contact for front-office inquiries regarding investment committee meetings.
  • Interface to marketing for reporting-related topics.
  • Controlling (performance, change, quality and scope control).
  • Active and independent participation in internal and cross-functional projects and Audits.
  • Proactive and early escalation of potentially critical issues to stakeholders.
  • Regular reviews of process efficiency and effectiveness to identify improvements and eliminate redundancies.
  • Documentation of processes, workflows, and responsibilities (work instructions, flowcharts, OHB).
  • Develop and implement operational plans, establish and streamline workflows to ensure reports and services consistently meets/exceeds client expectations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal clients (e.g., front office) to serve as a contact point for time-sensitive, complex, or regulatory tasks.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and regulations.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing solutions to monitor and reduce risks within their area and in reporting, including BCM measures.
  • Contributes to strategy development and implementation to ensure continuous process improvement and works with leadership to define change projects for process and service optimization.
  • Applies and tracks all internal and external regulations/guidelines and agreed SLAs, KRIs, KPIs, and quality measures.

Your skills and experience

  • Any training associated to asset management and banking.
  • Strong analytical skills and communication abilities, financial modeling expertise.
  • Bachelors degree from a recognized university (or equivalent) or plus
  • Professional experience in asset management required (solid knowledge of securities, derivatives, and metrics, especially risk and performance indicators)
  • Experience in Client Reporting and financial analysis.
  • Experience with FIS XP (especially Dynamic Reporting) is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of MS applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, word etc.) Excel (including macros) and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SCD, Bloomberg, and DataStream is a plus
  • Basic analytical skills, flexibility in production problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (spoken and written) and German language would be beneficial for the candidates to communicate with the stakeholders
