Job Title: Emerging Markets Credit Sales

Location: London

Corporate Title: Associate

The Institutional Client Group (ICG) for Debt manages the Bank's relationships with institutional investors across the full Debt product spectrum. ICG Debt combines the global capabilities of Deutsche Bank with regional expertise on five continents.

With leading market shares in nearly every product and region, the success relies on factors such as anticipating the impact of market and regulatory changes to clients business, developing the latest eCommerce and Clearing platforms, and leveraging the Banks product, research and structuring expertise to offer tailor-made solutions which are customized to meet the specific requirements of each individual client.

Our EM (Emerging Markets) Sales team partners with EM Trading to sell the suite of EM products, including Credit Default Swaps (CDS), FX, Rates, Options, as well as more complex cross-market derivatives.

Your key responsibilities

  • Proactively support sales coverage of EM Credit products across UK
  • Developing an understanding of the client base and their needs, and supporting on delivering the full suite of EM Credit products
  • Partnering with EM trading and structuring, as well as other sales colleagues within the team and within the product
  • Supporting the team on new client relationships / funds including legal documentation with Case Management, Credit, and Legal
  • Supporting the Sales desk on active internal and sales initiatives

Your skills and experience

  • Good knowledge or interest of the Fixed Income products including Emerging Markets
  • A sense of how macroeconomic developments impact our clients
  • Proven track record covering this client segment or similar is preferred
  • Knowledge of covering clients in the broadest sense does not need to be institutional
  • Entrepreneurial skills to prioritize resources to maximize outcome and value for client
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment and able to demonstrate the ability to navigate complex organizations
