Overview

The Private Wealth Management Custody Group seeks an applicant to join an experienced Custody product team servicing high net-worth individual, family office and advisory clients. This person will be responsible for all elements of account servicing and maintenance including but not limited to, new account openings, corporate action processing, wire payments and remittances, overdraft review and reporting, and trade reconciliation and settlement monitoring. In addition, work closely with Private Bankers, Middle Office Groups, Vendor Groups and other internal areas to effectively research and resolve complex client inquiries. Candidates should have the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, client-focused team environment while adhering to all internal controls and procedures.

What Youll Do

  • Support all aspects of new Custody account openings, including coordinating/reviewing completed account documentation, monitoring of new assets to be received, and validating tax lots have been properly allocated.
  • Review and monitoring of various daily client and transaction reports, including Overdraft and Trade Settlement reports, and work with client and advisors to resolve all cash or settlement issues timely.
  • Work closely with DBs Middle Office Group, Vendor Groups and other internal areas to research and resolve client inquiries. This includes close interaction with Relationship Manager team, who is responsible for the overall client relationship including Know Your Client (KYC) requirements.
  • Facilitate client requests for various wire disbursement transactions, security deliveries and transfers, tax cost adjustments, corporate action elections, and a multitude of other non-financial requests.

  • Excellent communication skills. Candidate will be working with clients, bankers and advisors of high-net worth.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidate should be able to make independent decisions on complex daily issues, while recognizing when the need to escalate when potential risk is evident.
  • Ability to function effectively in a dedicated team environment.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize work, which requires flexibility when handling multiple tasks and timely decision making.
