Your key responsibilities
- Ensure, in close cooperation with Corporate Banking Coverage team and senior Relationship Manager, that Deutsche Bank is the leading provider of banking products to China local clients
- Support the team to execute China business development strategy and CBC global strategic initiatives. Support business origination from designated client sectors and business growth in both inbound and outbound corridors
- Pro-actively develop understanding of client needs, bank product, industry and market knowledge, to support team to originate best fit product solutions and generate business opportunities to meet client expectations
- Develop strong productive relationships both externally and internally, and coordinate with internal partners to ensure effective end to end client delivery
- Contribute the development of marketing materials and the building of Deutsche Banks China Coverage franchise and reputation in the market
- Attend client meetings alongside CBC senior RM to build relationships with existing and potential clients, actively drive meeting preparations and key follow ups
- Support the KYC process for clients (working closely with KYC and control colleagues) to meet internal & regulatory requirements, support team to ensure on-time completeness of all client-related KYC requirements
Your skills and experience
- This role is only open to candidates graduated after Jan 2025 and less than one year relevant working experience with proven track record
- Proactive working attitude, good understanding of corporate bank product, and aspiration of self-development in client-facing role
- Experience in managing corporate client relationships and able to understand the strategic priorities of Chinese clients in order to support the pitching and execution of complex deals
- Strong analytical skills, capable of assimilating new information quickly and pro-actively relating them to client needs
- Solid credit knowledge in risk analysis and the ability to facilitate risk process for client limit extension
- Ability to work with colleagues across the business franchise and in other regions for business delivery
- Good project management skills and ability to work autonomously. Fast learner with proactive problem-solving skills
- Strong Microsoft office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) with ability to prepare impactful presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Educated to degree level in a relevant financial discipline or with relevant industry experience
- Strong command of both the Mandarin and English languages with effective verbal and written communication skills
