Position Overview

Details of the Division and Team:

Operations are responsible for driving the planning and the day-to-day management of the business to align with the bank's mission and strategic goals. Operations set the direction and manage performance to bank targets with a focus on continual performance improvement. Work includes:

  • Identifying and prioritizing product and service improvement opportunities and creating plans for implementation utilising comprehensive knowledge of the company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business Supporting bank strategy, proactively identifying and managing areas of risk

  • Maintaining relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including regulators, market vendors and internal divisions

  • Communicating changes to operational requirements and their impact on relevant processes and controls

Your key responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for transaction processing upon receiving clients instructions

  • Perform document checking and giving instructions to offshore operations team

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including offshore operations team, Product, Service team and Sales in processing clients instructions.

  • Comply all internal and external policies/guidelines and requirements of the regulators and to agreed SLAs, KRIs and/or KPIs

  • Identify and escalate any operational, regulatory and other risks to line manager in timely manner; contributes to the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions

  • Obtain appropriate transactional approval in accordance with the approval procedures.

  • Ensure continuous process efficiency and performance improvement

  • Provide periodic reviews of operational processes within own area of responsibility to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance

  • Cooperate with team members

  • Other basic admin duties

Your skills and experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in banking industry covering operations is desirable. (Not mandatory)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details are required

  • A self motivated, energetic and able to work independently

  • Confident, and enjoy working in a performance driven culture

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
