Overview

The Business Manager (BM) for GTI Risk & Control is responsible for the effective operation of the respective GTI-1 functions. Driving operational efficiency

whilst supporting the effective delivery of Chief Information Officer services in line with business objectives and control requirements. Ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the GTI-1 functions through provision of consistent and efficient business management processes.

What Youll Do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Bank to ensure the alignment of the GTI-1 function with business and control priorities

  • Manage Financials and HR/Workday related queries (eg. Contigent Worker-Renewals) in line with set targets, as well as Vendor spend oversight (contracts, invoices)

  • Budget Control and Reporting: Supply key analysis (on Financials) and provide cost modelling and allocations

  • Effective tracking and communication of status updates

  • Preparation of presentations and documentation for Senior Level Mgmt

  • Foster continuous improvements of GTI-1 functions, including organization and process optimization

How Youll Lead

  • Actively support the execution of the strategy and change initiatives

  • Manage, control and administrate GTI-1 functions budget, cost allocations, global resources incl. planning/forecasting and actuals

  • Owning complex cases (Business Case), identifying savings and improvement opportunities

Skills Youll Need

  • You should have a demonstrable track record and experience of being the Chief Operating Office or a supporting BM role for a large and complex organization, ideally a technology organization, partnering with senior stakeholders

  • The role requires strong business management, financial management & planning, cost, analytics, as well as deep & thorough understanding of technology and regulatory requirements/controls

  • Financial acumen required especially on managing targets, actuals, forecasting, bottom up planning and modelling Business Cases

  • Awareness of Regulatory & Internal policy compliance

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Ability to translate strategy into financial and workforce deliverables

  • Self-motivated and ability to work in fast paced environments
