As an experienced and high performing Learning Manager, you will be a professional, personable, proactive team player with a can do attitude. Supporting the Partner and established Director Development Senior Manager you will lead on the delivery of development initiatives for the most senior leaders in our business.  Youll also provide critical support to the wider Partner and established Director Development team operations, including managing supplier relationships, finance management and budget tracking. We are on a significant change journey to improve the experience, value and impact of our leadership programs, so this role would suit someone with strong programme management experience, and the ability to design, connect dots and mobilise an idea into execution. The responsibilities of this role will require a Learning Manager to operate across all spectrums of the learning offering, from analysis and design to delivery and assurance for continuous improvement.

  • To be successful, you will be required to develop a clear understanding of the full offering within the portfolio and work collaboratively with your Partner and established Director Development colleagues to support the successful delivery across the business.
  • Design and support with the design of new and innovative programmes using the 5Di process
  • Align with the Partner and established Director Development Senior Manager, supporting planning and review of the curriculum with the portfolio, capitalising and supporting our investments in Deloitte University EMEA.
  • Provide operational support to the UK Deloitte University team; including ownership of participant communications and data analysis to inform decision making.
  • Coordination of nomination process for courses within the portfolio, where it pertains to senior leaders or DUE participants. Work with LTSS (administration team) as needed.
  • Data collation, reporting and analytics, providing insights, e.g., course attendance, post-course evaluation.
  • Support processes for vendor management such as contract reviews, organising meetings, or showcasing work.
  • Identify business content experts to support projects. Accountable to set up and lead these projects, working with guidance only from the senior manager.
  • Own and independently drive specific projects / programmes, with multiple stakeholders and a need to co-ordinate across multiple teams / business areas including Deloitte University and Leadership Development
  • Lead the support services team on course delivery, including ensuring courses and facilitators are scheduled, logistics are in place and that materials are at a high standard and up to date.
  • Driving the setting up of learning events for Partners and/or Directors to include logistics such as issuing invitations via EAs, and personal coordination of internal facilitators and senior delegates.
  • Ensure all course costs are managed and invoices processed in a timely manner. Work with the wider Leadership Team for strategic course scheduling in accordance with budget requirements
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships, including liaising with Procurement for contracting and developing content.
  • Supporting with ad hoc facilitation when required.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative learner feedback to measure programme impact and iterate according to the performance gaps and needs of the business and where required and update key senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborating across firmwide curriculum teams including leadership & prof skills, commercial, tech & data, markets and industry, Compliance and QRS

  • To be successful in this role, you will be a highly collaborative team player and able to influence others to work together and build alignment. This will involve some delegation and delivery via others in order to meet your accountabilities.
  • You will have demonstrable experience of delivering learning projects / programmes and a strong base line of core Learning competence.
  • Strong understanding of the nuanced needs of senior leaders in a professional services environment.
  • The ability to create and deploy impactful learning for our most senior leaders and the skills to manage and present yourself with gravitas to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with significant experience in managing workstreams, and a logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
  • You will be comfortable working closely with others and building relationships easily. Youll be able to switch between formal and informal methods of communication with ease, managing relationships across all levels of seniority.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience in budget management and financial tracking
  • High levels of proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint .
  • Able to manage concurrent activities ensuring appropriate risk management
  • Ability to navigate changing priorities.
  • Ability to gain confidence and respect from business stakeholders and external vendors
  • Experience in agile project management or product management is also desirable.
  • Talent Management or HR experience would be desirable.
