We are seeking an experienced Director to join Deloitte's Value Creation Services practice, leading our Finance Value Creation and Finance Function Due Diligence offering.

The successful candidate will work with private equity investors, portfolio company CFOs and corporate clients to assess, design and improve finance functions across the deal lifecycle. They will help clients identify risks, quantify value creation opportunities and implement practical solutions that improve performance, reduce costs, strengthen control environments and support enterprise value growth.

Our Directors play a critical role in originating and delivering engagements spanning:

• Finance Function Due Diligence
• Finance function effectiveness assessments
• Finance function operating model design
• Finance cost reduction and productivity programmes
• Finance integration and separation support
• KPI, management information and performance reporting
• Finance technology, data and AI-enabled finance transformation
• Day 1 and Day 100 planning for Finance function
• Exit readiness for Finance

The role combines deep finance expertise with a strong commercial mindset, working alongside Deal Advisory, Financial Due Diligence, Operational Due Diligence and Portfolio Value Creation teams.

As an experienced Director, you will help shape the strategic direction and market position of the practice. This will include originating and converting new opportunities, strengthening client relationships and providing visible leadership to develop a high-performing team and future leaders.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in consulting, private equity, transaction services or senior finance leadership at Director or equivalent level.
• Strong technical expertise in finance operating models and finance transformation, in particular for PE backed organsiations
• Experience delivering finance diagnostics, cost optimisation and finance function effectiveness programmes.
• Experience supporting private equity-backed businesses
• Strong understanding of deal processes and the role of finance throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Track record of managing senior client relationships including CFO, CEO and private equity stakeholders.
• Demonstrated business development and sales capability
