Job description

Job Title: Oracle HCM Functional Consultant
Location: UK-wide (with expectation of travel to client sites as required)
Duration: 12 months
Contract Start Date: ASAP
Key Requirement: SC Clearance (Minimum Eligible)

Deloitte

Working with the Deloitte Associate (Contractor) Programme means we can offer you the opportunity to work on a variation of industry and client related projects. Our aim is to retain the best talent and so when your project end date nears our team of Talent Community Advisors will be working with you to look at alternative projects within the firm that suit your experience should you wish to continue with Deloitte.

Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Oracle HCM Associate to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in a large-scale government transformation project, implementing Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a project that will have a lasting impact on public services, working alongside experienced professionals and leveraging the latest Oracle technology.

We are open to candidates with expertise across various Oracle HCM modules, but we have a particular preference for experience in Oracle Recruit or Oracle Time and Labour.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As an Oracle HCM Associate, you will be integral to the successful delivery of our client's transformation journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborating with client stakeholders to understand their HR business processes and translate them into functional and technical requirements for Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Solution Design & Configuration: Participating in the design, configuration, and testing of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, ensuring alignment with client needs and best practices.
  • Module Specialisation: Applying your expertise in specific Oracle HCM modules (e.g., Recruit, Time and Labour, Core HR, Absence Management, Payroll) to configure and optimise the system.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Developing and executing test scripts, identifying defects, and working with the project team to ensure the quality and integrity of the implemented solution.
  • Data Migration Support: Assisting with data mapping, cleansing, and migration activities to ensure a smooth transition to the new Oracle HCM system.
  • User Training & Support: Contributing to the development of training materials and delivering training sessions to end-users, ensuring successful adoption of the new system.
Security Clearance: Crucially, you must be eligible for and willing to undergo Security Check (SC) clearance.
