Deloittes Private Client Services (PCS) team in Reading is seeking an experienced tax professional to join its market-leading team who advise an enviable portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and privately owned businesses.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity to build lasting client relationships while expanding your expertise within the sphere of PCS and Private Business.
The successful candidate will be joining a vibrant and growing team, headed by the leader of Deloittes UK PCS practice. The team advises domestic and international clients with the most complicated financial affairs, with a particular focus upon active, entrepreneurial wealth.
You will play a crucial part in serving our clients, growing our business, and developing the team. This will involve having an integral role in targeting new clients, building relationships in the local market and developing the teams strategy.
Deloitte PCS is truly a UK-wide practice, with extensive collaboration between London and regional offices, this providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to work with multiple Partners and form great working relationships beyond their immediate office location.

Our Associate Directors are part of the senior leadership team. In this role you will have responsibility for building and maintaining key relationships with our clients and targets in the local market as well as delivering technically excellent and timely advice to our clients.

Your role and responsibilities within our team will include:
- Owning and developing existing client relationships and cultivating new relationships.
- Collaborating directly with partners and directors on our largest and most complex clients.
- Delivering high quality tax advice and commercial solutions to a portfolio of diverse private clients and on one-off advisory projects in a timely and efficient manner.
- Proactively advising our clients on significant upcoming tax changes. Guiding our clients through the ever-changing tax landscape and assisting them to plan strategically.
- Collaborating with colleagues across different service lines to provide holistic solutions to our clients.
- Ensuring our clients meet their compliance obligations through proactively managing the compliance process.
- Managing and developing junior team members, fostering their professional and technical growth to enhance team capabilities.
- Playing a key role in business development initiatives, including client targeting, hosting and presenting at events and networking in the local market.
- Ensuring Deloittes risk procedures are adhered to and risk is appropriately managed.

- Full ICAEW or CTA qualification (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience of advising ultra/high net worth individuals in practice or a family office
