Would you like to build your career in Treasury and help manage the funding, liquidity, and balance sheet of a leading Nordic bank?

What you will be doing

As a Treasury Analyst in our Finland Treasury team, you will support both Danske Banks Finland Branch and Danske Mortgage Bank, the funding vehicle of Danske Bank Group that issues euro-denominated covered bonds to institutional investors. This role offers a unique environment to learn how a regulated bank manages its balance sheet, liquidity, funding, and financial risks. Based in Helsinki, you will work closely with colleagues across Treasury, Finance, Risk Management, Finnish business units, and the wider Danske Bank Group.

  • Support liquidity, funding, and balance sheet management activities in Danske Mortgage Bank

  • Maintain collateral positions with the Bank of Finland and contribute to covered bond funding activities

  • Perform routine tasks and daily treasury operations while contributing to the development of treasury processes and reporting

  • Prepare analyses and reports on balance sheet development, profitability, funding, and liquidity

  • Provide pricing support for Finnish lending and deposit products and assist business units with ad hoc analyses and treasury-related enquiries

About you

You are interested in financial markets, banking, and eager to develop your expertise in treasury, financial risk and balance sheet management. In addition, you bring:

  • A completed university degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related field

  • One to three years of relevant work experience

  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills

  • Strong skills in Excel and interest in data

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills in English and Finnish

Experience in banking, financial markets, treasury, data analytics, or programming is considered beneficial.

What we offer you

You will join a collaborative and supportive team working at the center of Danske Bank's treasury activities in Finland. We offer excellent opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and develop expertise in covered bonds, funding, liquidity management, financial markets, and balance sheet management. The role offers a strong foundation for a career within Treasury, Finance, Risk Management, or other specialist areas of banking.

Our hybrid work model allows for 3-4 days per week in the office, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing whilst providing flexibility.
