Our mission is to provide world-class tooling, platforms and practices that let product teams focus on business value while our capabilities take care of the heavy lifting. Ultimately continuously striving to make Danske Bank a great place to be a developer.

We work across locations, cultures and disciplines to build cohesive developer journeys, from coding and testing to deployment, operations in collaboration with GenAI agents. We design for thousands of internal users with high demands on security, reliability and compliance, and we value an open, learning-oriented culture where good ideas can come from anywhere.

How do you fit in?

We are scaling our Tribe to support the next phase of our technology modernisation, and we are looking for a Solution Architect to be one of the key drivers in this journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end ownership of solution designs in selected problem areas, with a particular focus on GenAI- and agent-enabled capabilities
  • Designing and evolving platforms that make it easy for both humans and agents to discover, understanding and using shared services, tools and infrastructure
  • Working closely with squads to turn architectural direction into running solutions on AWS, balancing long-term vision with practical delivery
  • Championing automation-first approaches, removing manual toil and designing for self-service and self-healing wherever possible
  • Bringing a developer-centric view into everything we build, using feedback, telemetry and cross team collaboration to improve developer journeys
  • Helping set guidelines and patterns for agentic development in the Group, including instructions, skills/tools, safety, governance and integration with existing systems
  • Acting as a coach, mentoring and sparring with engineers while remaining close to implementation and real-world usage
  • Collaborating with architecture, security, risk and business stakeholders to ensure our solutions meet high standards for robustness and compliance

This is a chance to have a significant role in designing and building innovative platforms and capabilities that shape how software and development supporting AI agents are built and operated across Danske Bank.

About you:

You will thrive in this role if you have a big appetite for keeping up with emerging technologies and especially the GenAI and agentic space. We expect you to have a customer-first mindset where your customer is the developer, their productivity, safety and experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, preferably designing or building internal developer platforms, portals or self-service capabilities

  • Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native design (containers, serverless, managed services), knowledge of modern observability tooling and practices.

  • Experience with automation-first ways of working (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, policy as code, self-service platforms)

  • Practical experience or strong interest in GenAI and agentic development (e.g. designing instructions, tools/skills, orchestrating agents, integrating LLM-based solutions into existing systems)

  • A can do attitude and a strong drive to turn ideas into running, reliable solutions

  • A track record of collaborating across teams and disciplines, and of influencing stakeholders through clear technical communication

  • Fluency in English
