Join our passionate team developing mission-critical trading systems that power Danske Bank's financial markets operations. You will be building high-performance distributed systems that integrate with exchanges and electronic trading platforms, making a real difference to our trading capabilities. Work alongside developers across Denmark and Lithuania in a collaborative environment that values simplicity and efficiency. 

What you will be doing

You will develop and operate systems at the heart of Danske Bank's trading platform, working with modern technologies to create solutions that handle millions of transactions. Your work will directly support our Markets Business Technology tribe and contribute to the bank's trading success. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, other technology teams, and regulatory experts to deliver robust solutions.

  • Design and implement high-performance distributed systems for trading operations
  • Integrate trading systems with exchanges and electronic trading platforms
  • Investigate business requirements and implement features requested by stakeholders
  • Automate processes and apply AI where it adds genuine value
  • Analyse and resolve system incidents to maintain operational performance
  • Participate in technical discussions and daily scrum meetings 

About you

  • Experience with C# programming for 3+ years in professional environments

  • Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of algorithms and data structures

  • Experience with API design and distributed system development

  • Skills in CI/CD practices and collaborative mindset

  • Upper-intermediate English language skills for effective communication

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives

  • Problem-solving approach to technical challenges and system optimization

Experience with Linux and Docker would be beneficial, as would familiarity with financial trading systems. We welcome applications from candidates with varying levels of experience, as we can adjust the seniority based on your background.
