Do you enjoy working at the intersection of strategy, leadership engagement and organizational change? Join Danske Bank as a Chief Consultant in the Group COO Office, where you will help turn Forward 28 priorities into clear decisions, engagement and action across Technology & Services (T&S).
About the Team:
The Group COO Office in T&S is based in Copenhagen and provides executive support to the Group Chief Operating Officer and the T&S Leadership Team.
We are a small, collaborative team working across strategic priorities, leadership engagement and operational support. We work closely with senior stakeholders across T&S to support alignment, decision-making and execution of key priorities linked to Forward 28. We support each other, challenge each other constructively and share responsibility for delivering high-quality work in a busy environment.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of COO Office, Thomas Simon Fogde, you will help drive strategic priorities, leadership engagement and organisational change across T&S. Working closely with colleagues in the COO Office, the T&S Leadership Team and senior stakeholders, you will lead projects, events and engagement initiatives that support key priorities across T&S.
Example of areas of responsibility:
Developing strategic communication, decision-making material and executive presentations for and with the COO and T&S Leadership Team.
Designing and delivering leadership meetings, offsites, events and engagement activities that support key strategic priorities.
Driving change management and engagement initiatives that strengthen understanding, alignment and execution of Forward '28 across T&S
What we imagine about you:
We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and making things happen. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and are comfortable navigating a dynamic environment with many stakeholders and priorities. You build strong relationships, communicate effectively across different audiences and are able to drive initiatives from idea to implementation.
You will thrive in this role if you:
Bring strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex topics into clear recommendations, presentations and decisions.
Have experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and projects in large, complex organizations.
Are comfortable working across strategy, project leadership, communication and change implementation, adapting to what is needed to create impact.
Take initiative, work independently and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership while collaborating effectively with colleagues and senior stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Significant experience from consulting, strategy, transformation, business management, technology or a similar environment.
Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) in English Danish is not a pre-requisite.
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Experience from the financial or technology sector is an advantage but not a requirement.
We know that strong candidates can come from many different backgrounds. Whether you have built your experience in consulting, strategy, business management, transformation or elsewhere, what matters most is your ability to drive strategic initiatives, engage stakeholders and create impact. If the role sounds like a good fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every requirement listed above.
Interested?
Please submit your application no later than 9 August 2026 by sending your CV and a short motivation for applying.
As the recruitment process takes place during the summer holiday period, we will begin reviewing applications and scheduling interviews after the application deadline.
We look forward to your application!
