Join Danske Banks PD Application Team, where you will analyse how new Internal Ratings-Based (IRB) credit risk models affect customers, portfolios, business processes and decision-making across the bank. Join the PD Application Team
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will join an international team that connects model development, regulatory requirements and business implementation. You will work closely with colleagues across the risk area, model development and the business, gaining broad exposure to how credit risk models influence decisions throughout the organisation.

The team supports the banks work with new IRB credit risk models, in particular the PD models (Probability of Default of customers). The models are developed by a dedicated Model Development team; your role will be to understand them and assess their consequences. You will extract and analyse data, identify material impacts, form evidence-based conclusions and translate your findings into clear messages. An important part of your role will be to write and communicate analytical findings, both to support regulatory applications submitted to supervisory authorities and to help stakeholders understand and prepare for the models impacts. Regulation remains an important part of the teams remit and provides essential context for your analysis, but the primary focus of this position is model impact analysis.

This position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. This role does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania.


You will:
    Analyse data to assess how new IRB credit risk models affect customers, portfolios, credit decisions, capital requirements, profitability, and business processes.
    Work closely with Model Development, implementation teams and business representatives to understand model changes, validate assumptions and resolve questions.
    Write model-impact sections to regulatory applications and related communication.
    Develop evidence-based conclusions, identify the most material impacts and explain their implications for the organisation and regulatory authorities.
    Prepare analyses, presentations and written conclusions tailored to senior management, risk specialists and business areas.
    Support stakeholder dialogue and help the organisation prepare for the implementation of new credit risk models.


About you:
    At least two to three years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, credit risk or a related field.
    A relevant higher education in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics or a similar quantitative discipline.
    Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex questions, work with data and draw well-supported conclusions.
    The ability to connect quantitative findings with business implications and communicate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
    Experience with credit risk, IRB models or parameters such as PD, LGD or EAD is an advantage, as is familiarity with related regulatory requirements.
    Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence engaging both specialists and business representatives.
    A curious, structured and proactive approach, with the willingness to challenge assumptions and learn new subject matter.
    Advanced written and spoken English.
