We are looking for a Experienced Business Analyst (Senior/Chief Business & Functional Specialist) to join our  team working with AI solutions in Danske Bank. In this role, you will play a key part in a team developing new AI products and capabilities for business customers. 

Especially in the early phase, much of your work will focus on risk, compliance, and internal governance, including product approvals within Danske Banks risk management setup. Over time, the role will evolve into a more traditional Business & Functional Specialist position supporting ongoing development and scaling of AI solutions. 

About Us 

You will join a cross functional team working with AI solutions that support internal stakeholders across the bank. The team consists of Data Scientists, Engineers, an architect and a Product Owner, working closely together to deliver value while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements. 

We operate in an agile setup, collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders across business, technology, risk, and compliance, and work in a hybrid model with colleagues based in Denmark and internationally. 

Your Role 

In this role, you will work at the intersection of business needs, AI technology, and governance, helping ensure that AI solutions are well defined, approved, and ready for use in a regulated environment. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

Business & Functional Analysis 

• Define business needs through analysis and stakeholder consultations  
• Translate needs into clear functional requirements, constraints, and supporting documentation 
• Support prioritisation by balancing business value, feasibility, risk, and compliance requirements 

Risk, Compliance & Governance 

• Play a key role in shaping and documenting AI product approvals within existing risk management and governance frameworks 
• Collaborate closely with risk, compliance, legal, and other control functions 
• Ensure clear documentation, decision trails, and alignment with internal policies and regulatory expectations 

Stakeholder Management & Communication 

• Engage with a broad stakeholder landscape across business units, IT, and governance functions 
• Facilitate discussions and workshops to drive alignment and shared understanding 
• Communicate complex topics clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders 

Support Development & Ongoing Delivery 

• Support squad in breaking down work into clear, actionable tasks 
• Contribute to refining ways of working around AI development, governance, and lifecycle management 
• Help create transparency and structure as AI solutions mature and scale 

About You 

You are structured, analytical, and comfortable navigating ambiguity - especially in regulated environments. You enjoy working where technology, business, and governance meet, and you are confident engaging with many different stakeholders. 

We expect you to bring: 

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst or management consultant 
• Experience from the financial sector or highly regulated industries (strongly preferred), particularly working with risk, compliance, or regulatory frameworks. 
• Alternatively youve worked in a consultancy preferably with AI or towards regulated industries. 
• Strong ability to structure complex topics and translate them into clear documentation and decisions 
• Proficiency in project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Experience working with tools such as Jira and Confluence is an advantage.
   
• Confidence communicating with stakeholders across different domains and seniority levels 
• Professional fluency in English 

Experience with AI- or datadriven initiatives is an advantage, but deep technical expertise is not required - curiosity, structure, and a strong governance mindset are key.
