Are you a driven and detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment?
We are looking for a driven and proactive team member to join our Accounting team in delivering excellence in financial processes, reporting and compliance across the Group.
You will be part of our experienced and supportive Accounting team of 11 colleagues, working together on controlling and reporting local and group financials while ensuring compliance with VAT and CIT requirements. In addition, youll contribute to various projects aimed at optimising processes, implementing system changes and enhancing reporting consistency across the organisation.
As part of a global team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in Vilnius and Copenhagen, as well as stakeholders across the organisation, including headquarter functions, business units and IT. This position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.
 

You will:
    Participate in month closing activities (perform monthly bookings, corrections, and reconciliations)
    Control accounting figures for legal and business units
    Participate in external quarterly reporting 
    Prepare statistical reports
    Prepare VAT and CIT declarations
    Provide guidance on VAT related topics to relevant business units (IT, Accounts payable, etc.)
    Communicate and cooperate with local tax authorities
    Lead the set-up and optimisation of accounting processes for complex transactions
    Support the creation, improvement, documentation and execution of control procedures across accounting, controlling and reporting activities, while engaging in associated projects and initiatives
    Prepare internal management reports 
    Assist in handling ad hoc and regular tasks

About You:

    Good knowledge of Lithuanian accounting standards
    Good knowledge of Lithuanian tax requirement for VAT and CIT, experience in filing VAT and CIT declarations 
    At least 3 years of experience working in accounting or controlling functions in international or Lithuanian companies
    Good MS Office Excel skills
    Structured approach and attentiveness to details while keeping an agile mindset
    Ability to work independently and combine it with the teamwork and knowledge-sharing culture
    B2 level English language skills
    C2 level Lithuanian language skills
    Higher education in economics, finance, accounting, auditing or a related field

Monthly salary range from 3040 EUR to 4560 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
