Product Owner for Cards

Join our Cards team to shape the future of payment solutions used by millions of customers across the Nordic region. You will define product strategy, lead a cross-functional squad, and drive the modernization of business-critical card systems. What You Will Be Doing

We are modernizing our card platform landscape while supporting millions of daily transactions across the Nordic region. As Product Owner, you will play a key role in balancing innovation, resilience, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations in one of Danske Bank's most critical product areas. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, business specialists, operations teams, and external vendors to ensure sustainable value delivery in an agile environment.

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a specific card product area

• Drive and prioritize the product backlog balancing customer value and constraints

• Define clear product goals and communicate outcomes to your squad

• Deliver new functionality while ensuring resilience and operational stability

• Modernize systems, processes, and integrations including APIs and cloud solutions

• Actively adopt and utilize AI tools to increase productivity, quality and speed of delivery

• Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, and ways of working
   

About You

• 5+ years of experience as Product Owner, Project Manager, IT Delivery Lead or similar

• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities

• Experience managing complex initiatives across multiple teams

• Ability to translate business objectives into technology roadmaps

• Strong prioritization and decision-making capabilities

• Collaborative leadership style focused on empowerment and results

• Experience working in agile product development environments

• Experience from cards, payments, or banking infrastructure would be valuable. Knowledge of payment networks, regulatory initiatives, or cloud technologies is also beneficial.
