Full Job Description
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
Join our Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) Clearing team in Vilnius and contribute to supporting clients across Nordic countries and other Danske Bank regions. You will help businesses grow through prompt derivatives clearing and post-trade services. This position offers meaningful work with direct client interaction and continuous process improvement opportunities.
What you will be doing
As a Markets Specialist, you will manage exchange-traded derivatives lifecycle operations while working closely with clients, stakeholders, and global partners including Nasdaq, Eurex, and J.P. Morgan. Your focus will be on post-trade services of medium complexity, supporting both daily operations and strategic projects across the organisation.
- Settle exchange-traded futures and options within required timeframes
- Process client transactions and manage stakeholder requirements
- Perform daily controls, investigations, and reconciliations
- Update Standard Operating Procedures and documentation
- Collaborate with Nordic front office teams and external partners
- Optimise processes using Lean principles and continuous improvement methods
About you
- Higher education qualification, preferably in Finance or Economics
- 1-2 years experience in derivatives clearing or post-trade services
- Strong attention to detail with ability to handle changing priorities
- Team-oriented approach with knowledge-sharing mindset
- Willingness to develop new skills and seek learning opportunities
- Upper-intermediate English language skills in speaking and writing
Experience with exchange-traded derivatives, clearing systems, or financial markets operations would be beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate.
