Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
Are you ready to help shape the future of AI in corporate banking? Join us as an AI Cloud Engineer in the District GenAI squad and help build the AI-powered products that are transforming how Danske Bank's corporate customers and employees work every day.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on cloud engineer with a strong focus on AI/LLM engineering to join the District GenAI squad, part of the Channels Corporates tribe at Danske Bank. District is our corporate banking product, and the District GenAI squad is responsible for the AI products built on top of it, from internal employee tooling to customer-facing features used directly within District.
Right now, we are building AI-powered products on AWS using Amazon Bedrock, and we need someone who can design, build and operate the cloud infrastructure and AI application logic that power these products, while helping navigate the governance that comes with shipping AI in a regulated bank.
As an AI Cloud Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most forward-looking AI work at Danske Bank, building products that directly shape how corporate customers and colleagues experience the bank. You will work with a skilled, engaged squad on a meaningful transformation journey, with real ownership and accountability.
What You Will Be Doing

- Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (Amazon Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, IAM, etc.) to support AI-powered products
- Build and productionize AI/LLM features such as RAG pipelines, prompting strategies, agentic workflows and evaluation frameworks
- Write high-quality code, review pull requests and troubleshoot hard technical problems across the stack
- Support model risk, DORA and GDPR groundwork that lets these products go live and stay live, working alongside our model risk, security and legal functions
- Coordinate with engineering teams elsewhere in the tribe to ensure the products integrate reliably with core systems
- Contribute to technical decisions on architecture, scalability, security and compliance for AI products
About You

- Good communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Background in financial services, familiarity with DORA or GDPR regulations, and experience with legacy system integration would add to your application
- Advanced English language skills
"Together, we continue to build an inclusive culture that encourages, supports, and celebrates the diverse voices of our employees."
