Are you ready to shape the future of payments at Danske Bank?  We enable Danske Bank to deliver best-in-class payments solutions to our customers through an efficient and scalable payments platform. We take active part in shaping a modern payments infrastructure to the benefit of the bank and society. Our 180+ colleagues work across 8 locations, developing, managing, and owning the processing of all payments going in and out of the bank in all countries/markets/currencies. Thats a lot of payments!

We are looking for a team player with an analytic mindset, good communication skills, and can do attitude.

What you will be doing

You will play a key role in delivering best-in-class payment solutions, working closely with developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to ensure our payment platform meets evolving business needs. Your analytical skills will help transform complex requirements into clear, actionable solutions.

  • Analyze payment specifications and business requirements for payment-related data reporting via APIs
  • Prepare clear backlog items and maintain comprehensive business documentation
  • Support API integration and design by understanding system dependencies
  • Participate in technical discussions to ensure feasible, aligned solutions
  • Take active role in API testing, defect investigation and incident management
  • Take ownership of solutions and address business issues promptly

About you

  • You are a proactive, self-driven and technically minded analyst with a strong sense of ownership, a can-do attitude and out-of-the-box thinking

  • You have hands-on experience with APIs and service integrations and can analyze technical documentation, including JSON

  • Good understanding of databases with strong SQL skills

  • You communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders and manage expectations effectively

  • Comfortable with context switching and multitasking in fast-paced environment

  • Team player who values collaborative success

  • Fluent in English with willingness to develop payments domain expertise

Knowledge of payment domain, ISO standards and PACS messages would be advantageous but is not essential.

Monthly salary range from 2600 EUR to 3900 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
