Senior Manager, HR Policy
Role summary
What youll do
- Lead the development, review and ongoing improvement of global HR policies and governance, ensuring they are compliant, practical and aligned to the firms strategy, culture and values.
- Work closely with HR centres of excellence and wider business services teams to ensure a joinedup, consistent experience for colleagues.
- Collaborate across the firm to ensure policies reflect changes in legislation, regulation, internal processes and colleague needs.
- Support the Partner policy proposition, working alongside the General Counsel to ensure appropriate alignment with the employee offering, benefits and legal framework.
- Lead policy communication and embedding activity, including the effective use of HR technology, in partnership with communications and employment brand teams.
- Lead and develop the HR Policy team, creating a collaborative, inclusive and accountable team environment.
- Monitor ER and policy trends and data to identify themes, address risk and support improvements to the colleague experience.
- Lead ER & Policy strategic initiatives and projects that support cultural and organisational change.
What youll bring
- Experience leading the development and governance of HR policy within a complex or regulated organisation.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, particularly in a UK context, with the ability to work confidently across international jurisdictions.
- Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, including Partners or equivalent leadership groups.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery, translating complex requirements into clear, usable policy.
- Experience leading and developing teams, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
- Confidence managing change, ambiguity and competing priorities in a global environment.
