Are you looking for a Business Development and Marketing opportunity with an

international law firm in Hong Kong?

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team supporting the Hong Kong office and wider Asia Pacific region across a range of practice areas including Corporate, TMT, Energy & Infrastructure, Construction, Finance, Employment and Disputes. In Hong Kong, you will work closely with a team of 10 partners and 30+ lawyers, while also supporting regional business development and marketing initiatives across Asia Pacific.

As CMS continues to expand its presence across Asia Pacific, this is an exciting opportunity to gain broad exposure across a wide range of business development, marketing and communications activities.

About the Role

Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager and Hong Kong and Singapore Business Development Managers, you will:

  • Support pitches, proposals and tender opportunities for existing and prospective clients, collaborating with lawyers and BD colleagues across Asia Pacific and the wider CMS network.

  • Prepare and maintain client-facing materials, lawyer biographies, website content, newsletters, social media content and other marketing collateral.

  • Prepare and coordinate legal directory and award submissions, ensuring content is accurate, compelling and submitted on time.

  • Support the planning and delivery of client events, webinars, sponsorships and networking initiatives across Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.

  • Contribute to key client and business development programmes, helping to strengthen client relationships and identify growth opportunities.

  • Coordinate thought leadership campaigns and maintain business development systems, databases and marketing infrastructure, including CRM, credentials, mailing lists and pitch tracking.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have some previous Business Development and Marketing experience within a professional services environment and will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work with colleagues at all levels.

To flourish in this role, you will have the ability to analyse complex information and present key messages in a clear and concise manner. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Desirable qualifications/skills/experience:

  • Degree or qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing databases.

  • Experience working with international teams or across multiple jurisdictions.
