The market-leading Finance practice group at CMS Sofia Lawyers Partnership is looking to bring in an ambitious Associate to be part of the future facing Finance practice.

The team advises on a broad range of banking and finance matters across several sectors Bank lending, Property finance, Project finance, Acquisition finance, Asset finances, Derivatives, Capital markets and others. We work closely with our CMS colleagues internationally and there will be opportunities to get involved in international projects and with innovative technology companies who supply solutions to customers around the world. We encourage our team to attend a variety of trainings, business development and integration events across CMS offices abroad.

in Finance Practice Group (Ref: FA)

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in law - Bulgarian qualified
  • Excellent written and spoken English (including legal)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a lawyer
  • Experience in banking and finance and /or capital markets
  • Familiarity with the LMA documentation will be considered an advantage
  • Accurate and concise communicator
  • Team player
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines

The Role involves:

  • Working as part of a team to provide first class Banking and Finance law related advice for clients in a wide range of fields
  • Working closely with our clients; drafting and negotiating contracts
  • Working with government and regulatory institutions
