The Citi Services business supports clients in 94 markets globally, for their Payments, Liquidity, Trade and Securities Services needs.

Citi Commercial Bank is seeking a high-performing Vice President Services Global Solution Sales (Western Europe) to drive the growth of its Treasury & Trade Solutions business. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role focused on originating and delivering complex treasury solutions across a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding Citis market share, deepening client relationships, and unlocking incremental revenue opportunities through advisory-led engagement. The role requires a commercially driven professional with strong product expertise and the ability to operate effectively within a global, matrixed environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sustainable revenue growth by identifying, originating, and executing treasury and trade solutions across an assigned client portfolio
  • Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, positioning Citi as a trusted partner for treasury transformation and working capital optimisation
  • Lead the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including opportunity identification, solution structuring, pitching, and execution
  • Drive wallet share expansion through cross-selling Citis capabilities across Payments, Liquidity, Cards, and Trade
  • Partner closely with Relationship Managers, Product Specialists, and regional teams to deliver integrated, multi-product solutions
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent conversion into realised revenue
  • Contribute to cross-border and multi-market deals, leveraging Citis global platform
  • Maintain strong risk and compliance discipline, ensuring all activities adhere to regulatory and internal standards
  • Travel: 20%-40% (across Western Europe, likely mainly Germany and Nordics)

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in corporate or commercial banking, with a strong track record in solution sales and revenue generation
  • Deep knowledge of Treasury & Trade Solutions, including payments, liquidity management, and working capital products
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and close complex, multi-product deals across multiple geographies
  • Strong commercial acumen, with understanding of financial statements, cash flow, and balance sheet dynamics
  • Excellent client management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed, and international environment
  • Bachelors degree in finance, Business, or a related field
  • Fluency in English and German required; additional European languages are advantageous
