The Opportunity

Are you a strategic sales leader with a deep understanding of the transformation taking place in the Power and Energy sectors? We are seeking a senior Global Solution Sales (GSS) professional to join our industry-leading treasury and trade solutions Citi Services team.

This is more than a sales role; it's an opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of the world's most influential companies in the Energy, Power Generation and Renewables industries. You will leverage your expertise in global payments, liquidity, and working capital solutions to design and deliver innovative approaches that solve complex challenges, drive our clients' success, and shape the future of their global financial and treasury operations.

What You'll Accomplish

  • Drive Growth: Originate new business and win major mandates by developing and executing a strategic portfolio sales plan in partnership with our global, regional, and country teams.
  • Be a Trusted Advisor: Cultivate deep, lasting relationships with key decision-makers at global and regional clients, becoming their go-to partner for treasury and trade solutions. You will retain and grow existing business while identifying valuable cross-sell opportunities.
  • Innovate & Solve: Lead complex treasury management deals from end-to-end. You will craft compelling RFP responses and pitch innovative, tailored solutions that address the unique needs of our clients industry, particularly around complex treasury management, working capital, and project-related finance solutions.
  • Shape the Market: Act as an ambassador for Citi at industry events and forums. Your insights will help shape our product strategy and reinforce our position as a best-in-class leader.
  • Lead with Integrity: Champion a culture of responsible finance, robust governance, and unwavering ethics. You will be a steward of the business, ensuring a pristine control environment across all activities while demonstrating thoughtful risk/reward analysis.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner seamlessly with Banking, Product, Implementation, and Account Management teams to ensure a world-class client experience, from solutioning through deal closure to seamless implementation and revenue realization.

Who You Are

  • An Industry Expert: You have 10+ years of experience and a profound knowledge of Payments, Liquidity Management, and Working Capital, ideally within the Energy, Power Generation and Renewables sectors.
  • A Master Relationship Builder: You excel at client management and have a proven track record of building and maintaining strong executive-level relationships.
  • A Skilled Negotiator: You possess superior deal negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex, multi-layered global organizations.
