Job Overview

Team/Role Overview

The Senior Performance Analyst is responsible for participating & overseeing a variety of performance calculations, analysis and workflow activities in coordination with the operational services teams. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the accuracy of calculations, verify and distribute performance data for funds and accounts in accordance with SLA's & timelines. A high level of analytical skill and investment processing knowledge are essential to support the wider performance and operational teams.  Adherence to GIPS standards and principles.

What you'll do

  • Ensure performance tasks and workflows are carried out in accordance with the deadlines required to meet client deliverables
  • In the Maker role - Produce performance output in various formats, ensuring procedures are followed and all verification checks and sign offs are adhered to
  • In the Checker role - Complete a full secondary check of all steps performed by the maker, provide validation of the maker
  • Assist the team manager with ad-hoc tasks, client queries, and performance investigation
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide guidance to resolve problems, escalations, and complex/escalated transactions
  • Assist with the identification and implementation of process standards and improvements to enhance efficiencies
  • Assist in training and coaching new team members
  • Influence decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization and support projects as necessary
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

What we'll need from you

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Performance/Investment certification preferred - CFA / CIPM
  • Experience in accounting, finance, or business-related area
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of financial services, funds services, and processes
  • Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related area
  • Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
