The CCB Loan Product Manager will be focused on the CCB loan product and capital management in Asia. This role is accountable for the development of a well-defined and strategic product offering across Asia, the establishment of a strong risk and controls environment, and the delivery of sustainable business and loan portfolio growth. A key focus for this role is the optimization and uptiering of low-returning clients in the Asia CCB Lower Left portfolio.

This VP will report into the Asia CCB Loan Product and Capital Management Head and will be based in Singapore.

Some of the key considerations for the Commercial Loan Product Manager role include: 

Responsibilities:

  • Support regional ambitions for sustainable loan growth across the CCB target market through oversight of our loan product offering, its delivery channel, governance and risk and controls
  • Support preparation for lending transactions ($25mm+ OSUC) for presentation at the Banking Balance Sheet Forum, which will include briefings for business senior management across CCB, IB, Services, Markets, Corporate Finance, CLM and Risk
  • Direction and ownership of the Lower Left targets and Client Financials methodology changes, providing thorough oversight and analysis of key trends in conjunction with the global LPM team and Finance
  • Working collaboratively with local Loan Champions on loan origination, returns improvement and product offering initiatives
  • Provide analysis and insight to help develop and broaden our loan product offering taking into consideration the competitive landscape and CCB Asias strategy
  • Track and monitor loan product profitability and performance against identified targets
  • Conduct market research and competitor analyses to ensure our commercial clients have a best-in-class experience and designing and execute on identified improvement strategies
  • Partner with Institutional Credit Management (ICM), O&T and Loan Operations to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve efficiency, control and the client experience across the E2E lending platform

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in banking, product/loan management experience or related activities
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to define and achieve high value business goals, demonstrating strong inter-personal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated experience driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and data analytics to drive results
  •  Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Demonstrated analytical and influencing skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • High level of personal integrity and interest in building the business.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with strong ability to influence and build consensus.
  • Articulate in written and verbal communication skills
  • Propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a time-sensitive environment.
