Job Overview
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications
- Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and clarify issues
- Validate bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before production deployment
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test strategies and reports
- Support test automation efforts where applicable
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
- Support with FFS PTS Documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Experience in manual testing and exposure to automation frameworks
- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Fast Framework
- Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
- Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Experience with SQL, ETL
