Job Overview

The Product Management Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position. You will apply analytical thinking and leverage data analysis tools and methodologies to drive data-driven analysis and control-related business projects.

Responsibilities:

Assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, product enhancement and development, product launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers

Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results

Serve as a representative for the Controls Automation development team on control-related business projects, focusing on the development and execution of data-driven analysis.

Develop and automate control reports utilizing a range of tools including SAS, SQL, Enterprise Data Warehouse, BigData, EAP, and shell scripting.

Support the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of best-in-class Control programs, policies, and practices for USCC Controls Automation.

Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients

Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members

Oversee client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and assist product managers in addressing fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions

Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans

Implement team procedures, client problem resolution, and client management

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications & Skills:

8-10 years of experience

Knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics

Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Demonstrated analytical skills

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Technical Proficiency (Must-Have):

Strong and advanced proficiency in SAS: Demonstrated expertise in SAS programming for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and report generation.

Strong and advanced proficiency in SQL: Expert-level SQL skills for complex querying, data extraction, and database management across various platforms.

Technical Proficiency (Add-on/Desired):

Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting, NDM for automation and job scheduling.

Familiarity with Enterprise Data Warehouses, BigData, and EAP platforms.

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
