Citigroup Saudi Arabia offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the Kingdom's dynamic financial markets. We are seeking a driven Operations Analyst for our Cash Equity Brokerage team, where you will play a critical role in supporting our equity trading desk and contributing to our success in the region.

We are specifically seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to support the MENA equity trading desk, with a focus on the Saudi market. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for finance and a commitment to operational excellence. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of trades, managing client accounts, and mitigating risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated operational support to the equity trading desk for all Saudi trading activities.
• Manage the end-to-end process of client account creation and maintenance.
• Coordinate with custodians for pre-confirmation of trades to ensure timely settlement.
• Handle client confirmations, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery.
• Perform daily stock and cash reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor commission payments and ensure they are correctly calculated and processed.
• Engage in proactive risk management by identifying potential operational risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Deliver exceptional service to our customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
• Contribute to business enablement by maintaining and enhancing operational excellence.

Absolute Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree specifically in Finance.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Core Competencies:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with traders, clients, and custodians.
• A strong analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in a brokerage or custody environment.
• An understanding of the specificities of Saudi Equity brokerage.
• Fluency in Arabic.
