Job Overview
The Corporate Banking Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting senior bankers in managing client relationships, conducting comprehensive financial analysis, and executing a range of corporate banking solutions. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual eager to contribute to strategic advisory services and capital markets activities for corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement Support:Assist in preparing client-facing materials, including proposals, pitch books, and presentations, to support relationship management and business development efforts.
- Financial Analysis & Modeling:Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis, credit assessments, and valuation modeling to evaluate client financial performance and support transaction structuring.
- Transaction Execution:Support the origination and execution of corporate banking products, including credit facilities, treasury solutions, and capital markets advisory, in coordination with relevant product teams.
- Market & Industry Research:Perform economic, industry, and company-specific research to identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities or risks.
- Documentation & Reporting:Prepare detailed written recommendations, statistical exhibits, and internal reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Risk Management & Compliance:Understand and adhere to the firm's risk assessment frameworks, internal policies, and regulatory requirements, ensuring sound judgment in all business practices.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:Partner effectively with bankers, product specialists, and other internal stakeholders to deliver seamless client service.
Qualifications:
- Experience:2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, investment banking, credit analysis, or a related financial services role.
- Technical Skills:Proven proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical Acumen:Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Organizational Skills:Demonstrated strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Industry Knowledge:Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, financial products (e.g., loans, debt capital markets, treasury services), and the regulatory landscape affecting corporate banking.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
