Job Overview

The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 2 is an intermediate level role responsible for a blend of daily operational tasks, client service, and analytical activities. The role involves the end-to-end operational management of institutional investment products. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in investment execution, trade processing, liquidity management, and reconciliations, while also working with technology partners to drive enhancements and implement sustainable technology solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a strong foundation in investment operations, risk management, and client support within a global financial institution.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily operational support for Money Market Funds, Time Deposits, and related investment servicing activities.
  • Process and support the execution of investments, redemptions, maturities, and cash movements.
  • Research and recommend technology solutions to reduce client inquiries and manual touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to prototype and implement innovative solutions for operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Act as a first point of contact for routine client inquiries, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Work with Product Managers and Client Service teams to provide effective client support.
  • Develop an understanding of the operational risk and control environment to investigate and resolve settlement failures, trade exceptions, and discrepancies.
  • Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards to safeguard the firm, its clients, and assets.


Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in a related role.
  • A strong interest in a career in Treasury Services, Investment Operations, Cash Management, or Financial Services.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of financial instruments and markets.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal.

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

Schedule

  • This role will work a shift from 9 AM EST to 6 PM EST, but will require flexibility on hours.
  • Weekend availability is required 3-4 times a year for product launches or major updates.
