Job Overview
The Data Quality Intermediate Analyst is responsible for delivering subject matter and industry expertise across the enterprise in coordination with the Data Quality team. This role deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family.
Responsibilities:
- Partners with business teams to develop process improvements, solutions, and streamline operational workflows
- Applies professional judgment and attention to detail when interpreting data and results based on the analysis of information
- May occasionally provide informal guidance or on the job training to new or lower-level team members
- Communicates with tact and diplomacy to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information with project stake holders or internal parties
- Works and coordinates with a multidisciplinary group of business leads, operations managers, and technologists
- Report Data Quality issues through the Data Concern Remediation Management process
- Defines detailed business data requirements and documenting them
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years Experience with defining and implementing Data Quality programs; Banking or Finance industry preferred
- Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Collibra and other Data Governance industry standard tools
- Intermediate proficiency in System Query Language (SQL)
- Working knowledge of Tableau (report consumer, developer, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of Database structures
- Flexible, team-oriented and have good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
Contribuciones Clave
- Ejecutar Evaluaciones de Procesos de Negocio (Business Process Assessments, BPA) para procesos de negocio que consumen, transforman, crean y eliminan datos.
- Realizar entrevistas, cuestionarios, talleres y sesiones de trabajo con los Propietarios de Procesos de Negocio (Business Process Owners, BPOs) y los Responsables de la Preparacin de Procesos de Negocio (Business Process Preparers, BPPs).
- Promover la adopcin del marco de BPA y guiar a los interesados durante todo el ciclo de vida de la evaluacin.
- Documentar procesos de negocio, flujos de datos y el consumo/produccin de datos.
- Facilitar la alineacin y el consenso entre mltiples funciones de negocio y reas de soporte.
- Identificar riesgos relacionados con los datos, brechas de control y oportunidades de mejora de procesos.
- Contribuir a la definicin, mejora y evolucin de la estrategia y el marco de Evaluacin de Procesos de Negocio.
- Colaborar con los equipos de Calidad de Datos (Data Quality), Linaje de Datos (Data Lineage), Modelo Central de Datos (Central Data Model), Gobierno de Datos (Data Governance) y otros equipos de la Oficina de Datos y Analtica (Chief Data & Analytics Office, CDAO).
- Preparar documentacin de nivel ejecutivo y comunicar los resultados de las evaluaciones a interesados de distintos niveles organizacionales.
- Aprovechar herramientas de Inteligencia Artificial para acelerar el anlisis de informacin, el desarrollo de documentacin y el diseo de soluciones.

- Dominio avanzado de Power Query y herramientas de productividad impulsadas por Inteligencia Artificial (Excel, PowerPoint y listas de SharePoint).
- Experiencia en la administracin y mantenimiento de listas de SharePoint y repositorios basados en SharePoint.
- Conocimiento avanzado de Microsoft Excel y Power Query para la transformacin, conciliacin, consolidacin y anlisis de datos provenientes de mltiples fuentes y archivos.
- Experiencia en la creacin de rastreadores automatizados, tableros de control (dashboards) y soluciones de reporteo utilizando Excel y Power Query.
- Conocimiento de Power Automate, scripting u otras herramientas de automatizacin para optimizar procesos operativos y la comunicacin con stakeholders.
- Experiencia con herramientas de automatizacin y scripting para generar y distribuir comunicaciones personalizadas a stakeholders a gran escala.
