Job Overview

The MIS Analyst is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in operational support include implementation support, administrative and operations coordination for the various products, programs and services offered by the business.
• Perform acceptance testing and platform rollouts.
• Liaise between operations staff, product managers, relationship managers, portfolio managers, custodians, and clients
• Conduct support activities dealing with record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval, account opening, imaging and administering/maintaining client accounts.
• Applies good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the goals of the area.
• Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks including the correct execution of control mechanisms related to assure integrity data and policies accomplishment and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles.
• Makes evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information.
• Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided.
• Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• Basic level experience in a related role (combination of education/experience).

Education:

• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

• Disear, desarrollar y mantener procesos de obtencin, transformacin y entrega de informacin.
• Automatizar procesos recurrentes de reporteo y administracin de datos.
• Ejecutar controles y validaciones de calidad de datos
• Documentar procesos, reglas de negocio y definiciones de datos.

Experiencia: De 0 a 2 aos de experiencia en administracin de datos, informacin gerencial, reporteo, Data Management o funciones similares.

Conocimientos tcnicos requeridos:

• SQL avanzado
• Consultas y manejo de grandes volmenes de datos
• Modelado y anlisis de informacin
• Python (deseable)
• Hive o tecnologas Big Data (deseable)

Escolaridad: Licenciatura / Ingeniera en Sistemas, Informtica, Ciencias de la Computacin, Actuara, Matemticas Aplicadas, Ciencia de Datos o afines.
