Job Overview

Enterprise Resiliency (ER) is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Enterprise Resiliency (ER) Data Recovery Testing (DRT) Coordinator. The ER DRT Coordinator is responsible to work with sector application teams and CTI stakeholders to support Data Recovery Program.

Description:

The ER Data Recovery Testing coordinator works with the technology teams to ensure the data recovery assessments are validated, tests and tabletops are planned, documented, and executed for the critical business technology, according to COB policies and standards. Manage escalations of potential issues, tracking remediations to completion.  Working off hours and weekends will be required to support activities for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as team representative within ER providing support and oversight within Data Recovery Program.
  • Partners with the ER leadership and central teams to maintain a calendar of activities to ensure a timely completion of all policy requirements.
  • Provide guidance and coordination for the entire recovery process before, during and after the testing life cycle.
  • Must be able to work closely with senior business sponsors and promote consensus on decisions that are right for the organization.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Hands on approach and able to manage own work load whilst taking direction.
  • Collaborates to gather information internal and external to the organization to help guide business recommendations for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Advises the technology businesses on ER strategy, policy requirements and preferred practices.
  • Will have knowledge of organizational controls, tracking and monitoring requirements, ensuring risks are reported and escalated to Risk & Control Leads when gaps in performance and associated risks are identified.  Recommends Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and / or Risk Exceptions (REs).
  • Promotes Business Continuity training and awareness.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years related Financial Services / Banking experience, IT, DR, or similar environments (Finance, Risk, Control background)
  • An expert level understanding of database frameworks, different OS recovery procedures, structure languages, file structures and systems, experience with database servers, knowledge of IT security best practice, experience to recover data from computer storage devices, software, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • 3 years experience managing multiple, concurrent projects and staff.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills
  • Soft skills strong proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to manage complex dashboard reporting
  • Track record as a strong analyst and recognized as able to deliver work in pressured environments.
  • Ability to work across levels of personnel from end users to senior management.
  • Desired nationally recognized Business Continuity certification, i.e CBCP, MBCP.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in technology, business, or related discipline
