In the SCADA Engineering team in Aalborg, you will join a highly skilled and experienced team, which have the main task of establishing, maintaining and monitoring all data connections to all power producing assets.

You will work alongside students and fulltime employees that work closely together in a collaborative team, where learning, responsibility and development go hand in handwith support from experienced colleagues.

The job

Your job is mainly to support your colleagues in communication with German service providers and asset owners. The job also involves technical training and introduction to a complex world of power trading, asset monitoring and customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between Centrica Energy Trading and German asset owners/service providers.
  • Support daily monitoring of data quality and data flow from renewable energy assets.
  • Assist during power balancing operations with a specific focus on the German market.
  • Handle various administrative and coordination tasks.
  • Receive training in power trading, asset monitoring, and customer interaction.

The ideal candidate

  • Fluent in German and strong in English.
  • Interested in the energy sector and renewable energy markets.
  • Studying a relevant field such as Sustainable Energy, Power-to-X, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
